Lesson Five: Overcalls

Bidding and responding to partner is the basis of the auction in bridge, but of course your opponents will want to get into the bidding as well. Overcalls are very different from opening bids, and therefore partner's responses to them need to take this into account. Learn how to:

-  deal with opponents' overcalls
-  enter the auction when opponents have opened
-  prevent  opponents from bidding to an easy contract
